Paratext Registration

Updated information about Paratext 6.1 registration.

Jan 18, 2008
Thanks to a generous donation to the United Bible Societies ICAP program by a kind supporter of the Canadian Bible Society, we are once again able to offer Paratext at no cost to to duly licensed users associated with agencies that have negotiated partnership agreements with UBS (presently — SIL/Wycliffe and its national entities, the Institute for Bible Translation, Pioneer Bible Translators, and Lutheran Bible Translators).

Quoting Dr. Phil Towner, the global translation coordinator for UBS, "I am therefore happy to announce that we are able to offer you our popular software suite without charge. Those from your group (partnering agencies – above) who had already subscribed to Paratext 6.1 from the time it was launched will not be invoiced."

For all users, upgrading to Paratext 6.1 still requires re-registration.
